Fished Boca Grande Pass today, but the tarpon had moved out into Charlotte Harbor.

Plenty of tarpon are are around, we just couldn’t hook ‘em the way we did yesterday!

The water is still settling from the cold front and all the wind yesterday, so we didn’t hook any tarpon today.

But thinks are looking up … caught and released some nice small sharks and other fish today!

It was a much better day than yesterday and we’re hopeful about the water and tarpon for tomorrow!

As good as the tarpon fishing was yesterday, it was equally bad today.  It was the worst.

We couldn’t catch a thing.  A cold front had moved in and the wind was blowing hard out of the northeast.  We couldn’t catch a cold.  Nothing was happening.

Bull & Hammerhead Sharks Fight Over Tarpon, May 10, Sanibel, Captiva & Fort Myers Fishing Charter & Sanibel, Captiva Fort Myers Fishing Report.

We got this tarpon close to the boat yesterday, but we didn’t see the bull & hammerhead sharks coming.

As you can see in the video, as the tarpon gets close to the boat, one shark comes in and attacks it and then a number (one bull and one hammerhead?) fight over the remains of the tarpon.

It is frustrating, but it happens.
