Today’s Sanibel Captiva fishing charter: catfish, yuck, don’t touch ’em!
Here’s a catfish we caught on cut bait. Be very careful; they have painful stingers.
We often catch catfish if we are using cut bait for tarpon or redfish!
For more Sanibel fishing photos from today’s Sanibel Captiva fishing trips and reports from our other Sanibel fishing Captains’ boats out of Jensen’s Marina and ‘Tween Waters Marina, please go to our sister Captiva, Fort Myers and Florida Fishing Report sites.
Go on a Sanibel Captiva fishing charter with Captain Joe Burnsed, Sr. or Captain Joey Burnsed – or let’s go on a North Captiva or Cayo Costa Island shelling guide trip.
It is well worth the half hour drive from Fort Myers; we’ll catch fish and the scenery is beautiful.
Please call 239-472-8658 and we’ll lineup a charter!
We depart from Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, on the bay side, just south of the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.
If you had a good Sanibel Captiva fishing experience with Hank and me, please post an “excellent” review at our Google Places Reviews. It will be greatly appreciated!!!
Fair winds and following seas,
